Liberation Day Celebrations In Bologna
Due to the coronavirus lockdown, which prevents people from demonstrating in the street, a ''flash mob'' was called in Bologna, Italy, on April 25th 2020, at 3 p.m. people came to their windows to sing ''Bella ciao''. The celebrations for the 75th anniversary of Italy's Liberation from fascism are different from those of the previous years. For the first time in history, Italy cannot celebrate its April 25th with demonstrations in the streets because of the lockdown to contain the coronavirus (covid-19) outbreak. The population has been invited to stay at home and to watch the celebrations on TV or via streaming. (Photo by Marco Panzetti/NurPhoto)
