Greece Is Checking Arriving Tourists At The Greek Bulgarian Borders

Portrait of a smiling healthcare worker. Travelers in cars and buses from all over Europe but mostly from Bulgaria, Romania, Poland and Serbia arrive at the Greek Bulgarian borders of Promahonas Kulata, entering Greece for holidays. Greece lifted the travel ban since July 1 and relaunched the tourism season. Long queues up to 10KM were formed the previous days due to the check of the Passenger Locator Form to each individual, a new required document to enter Greece for all the arriving people and the increased Covid-19 Coronavirus tests that are applied to most of the arriving cars, based on a special algorithm. Greece increased the testing capacity with the health crew of the National Public Health Organization EODY at the land borders. July 5, 2020 (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
