Mars Mira 2020 - 25th Anniversary Of The Srebrenica Genocide
Sabahudin Tutundzic born in Srebrenica and currently lives in Germany poses the day before the march in Lipje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on July, 7, 2020. He was one of the few survivors who left with the column of thousands of Bosnians from the enclave on July 11, 1995. The Mars Mira (Peace March) is a walk that since 2005 has been organized annually between July 8 and 10 in memory of the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. During the three days in which the march takes place, the participants walk by road and, above all, by steep mountains, the distance that connects the towns of Nezuk and Potocari, where the Srebrenica Genocide Memorial Cemetery is located.
