Light shining on an apple on Saturday 16th May 2015. The sticker, on the apple, is calling for members to retain the Co-Operative Group's links to the Labour Party - motions nine and ten - on the agenda for the AGM in central Manchester. -- The Co-Operative annual general meeting, which took place in Manchester on Satuday 16th May 2015, decided to maintain the donations to the Labour Party and the Co-Operative Party. The decision was made by people voting, by the group's membership. At the vote, 55% of the group's membership decided to continue to 'approve political expenditures, not to exceed £1 million per annum, that support the objectives of the co-operative movement' according to an official Co-Op Group statement.
