Covid-19 Tests At The Greek Borders

Covid-19 sample for testing is recorder by a mobile device. Greece is checking arriving tourists at the Greek-Bulgarian borders on July 31, 2020 for Covid-19. Travelers in cars and buses from all over Europe but mostly from Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic and Poland arrive at the Greek Bulgarian borders of Promahonas - Kulata, entering point in Greece for holidays and they are checked for Coronavirus. Greece lifted the travel ban since July 1 and relaunched the tourism season. Arriving tourists should carry the special Passenger Locator Form for each individual, a new required document to enter Greece for all the arriving people and the increased Covid-19 Coronavirus tests that are applied to most of the arriving cars, based on a special algorithm. Greece increased the testing capacity with the health crew of the National Public Health Organization EODY at the land borders. Greece will allow the entrance only to passengers with up to 72 hours prior to the arrival Covid-19 test with negative results in English from a certified laboratory.
