U.S. Capital Hill - Iran, 1988 Massacre Remembrance

A photo exhibit in remembrance of 120,000 dissidents, mostly members of the Iranian opposition group the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), executed by the Iranian regime, including 30,000 political prisoners massacred in 1988, was held on Capitol grounds, Washington DC, US, on September 4, 2020. Speakers, including families of the victims, underscored the need to hold the masterminds and perpetrators of this manifest case of crime against humanity accountable for their crimes and to end impunity for regime’s leaders.
