Asian Golden Cat Goes Wild

The Asian golden cat is in a habituation cage before being released in the TNBBS area (Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park), Lampung, on December, 9, 2020. West Java Center for Natural Resources Conservation (KSDA) and Balai Besar Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) released 2 individual golden cats in the TNBBS area, Lampung. The two adult golden cats with the names Gato and Goldie were confiscated by the Special Crime Team (Tipiter) at the Police Headquarters from the perpetrators of the illegal trade in protected wildlife in 2018.
