Asian Golden Cat Goes Wild
WAY CANGUK, LAMPUNG - 10 : A team from the IAR Indonesia Foundation prepares to release a golden Asian cat (Catopuma temminckii) inside a habituation cage inside the TNBBS area (Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park), Lampung, On December, 9,2020. Balai Besar Conservation of Natural Resources (KSDA) West Java and the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park (TNBBS) Center released 2 individual golden cats in the TNBBS area, Lampung. The two adult golden cats, named Gato and Goldie, were confiscated by the Police Headquarters Certain Crimes Team (Tipiter) perpetrators of the illegal trade in protected wildlife in 2018.
