May Day Demonstration In Paris

Demonstrators and members of the Attac association observe the scenes of violence between the black bloc and the police before the demonstration. The traditional May Day demonstration in Paris gathered several thousand people to march between the Place de la Républiques and the Place de la Nation following the call of the main trade unions (CGT, FO, FSU, Solidaires...) despite the health restrictions currently in place. The demonstration was quickly punctuated by violence between black bloc and police before at the end of the demonstration, radical demonstrators attacked the CGT procession, injuring several people.
