Pro-Palestinian Protests In Paris
Pro-Palestinians demonstrators have built several barricades around the barbès neighborhood in order to slow down the charges of the police who seek to disperse them on May 15, 2021 when, at the call of many organizations, a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was organized in the area. Barbes district of Paris following recent tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine, both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. For fear of overflows, the march was banned by the Prefecture, creating many scenes of violence between demonstrators who defied the ban and police officers deployed in large numbers to prevent the slightest beginning of a rally.
