Pro-Palestinian Protests In Paris
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators protect themselves from tear gas and rubber bullets from LBD using large tarpaulins in the market on May 15, 2021 as, at the call of many organizations, a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was organized in the Barbes district of Paris following recent tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine, both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. For fear of overflows, the march was banned by the Prefecture, creating many scenes of violence between demonstrators who defied the ban and police officers deployed in large numbers to prevent the slightest beginning of a rally.
