Pro-Palestinian Protests In Paris
Pro-Palestinians demonstrators were repulsed by the police using tear gas grenades on May 15, 2021 when, at the call of many organizations, a demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was organized in the Barbes district of Paris following the recent tensions in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine, both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. For fear of overflows, the march was banned by the Prefecture, creating many scenes of violence between demonstrators who defied the ban and police officers deployed in large numbers to prevent the slightest beginning of a rally.
