Aftermath Of Super Cyclone 'Yaas' In West Bengal
A betel leaf farmer showing his farm which is directly affected by the saline water entered through the broken embankment. He lost nearly one lakh rupees this year. On May 28, 2021 in West Bengal, India. According to report more than three hundred thousand homes were destroyed and the people directly were affected by the severe cyclone Yaas, as sea waters along the Bengal coast and rivers started swelling and breached embankments, after the landfall at Odisha at 9.30am on 26 May 2021. Various farms were directly affected by the salt water reached in the farming areas. The cities narrowly escaped from the cyclone hit but remaining coastal areas are in severe condition.
