Sunrise At Axios Delta National Park In Greece
Sunrise, dawn and the sun reflecting on the sea at Axios Delta National Park, a location with wetlands near Halastra and Thessaloniki city where 4 rivers Gallikos, Axios, Loudias and Aliakomnas have their delta. At the specific location fishermen and mussel producers have their huts and boats. About the biodiversity, this region is famous and of worldwide ornithological importance, as considerable populations of rare birds stop, nest or overwinter here while 299 species of birds have been documented. As about Flore and Fauna more than 370 species of plants have been founds, 27 species of amphibians and snakes, 50 mammals, 50 fishes and 65 of invertebrates and insects.
