New York Governor Hochul Encourages People To Get Vaccinated
Governor Kathy Hochul encourages people to get vaccinated for Covid-19 and the flu during a press conference in Midtown Manhattan on October 13, 2021 in New York City, USA. The Governor noted that this is the beginning of the flu season and that it is important that everyone is vaccinated for Covid-19 and the flu: both vaccines can be administered at the same time. Additionally, Hochul stressed the importance of wearing a protective mask in spite of lower infection rates. The Governor also said that additional testing sites and an eduction outreach plan would be implemented in areas of the state that experience a 4 percent or higher infection rate.
