The painting, now owned by the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California, is on exceptional loan and will be on display between 25 January and 15 May 2022 alongside a selection of five paintings that demonstrate Gainsborough's interest in works of Van Dyck's.
