Strong Wind Dectructions In Poland
A crane collapsed on February 17th on a construction site due to strong winds. Krakow, Poland on February 18, 2022. There was no operator in the cabin of the 30-metre crane, which was not in use at the time of the incident, however four construction workers were hospitalised as a result of the accident, two of whom subesquently died.Strong winds in last days caused structural damage in many parts of Poland. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued third degree alerts for some regions. The winds were reaching the speed of up to 120 km/h. (Photo by Beata Zawrzel/NurPhoto)
