Rally for Ketanji Brown Jackson at the Supreme Court
Anti-abortion protesters hold a mock fetus are blocked by a supporter of Ketanji Brown Jackson as they try to force their way into the crowd to disrupt a rally in support of Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court, on the first day of her Senate confirmation hearings. She was one of 6-8 demonstrators who tried to disrupt the rally attended by hundreds of people. Jackson’s nomination to be a Supreme Court justice is historic because she is the first Black woman to be nominated. She is a former public defender and currently serves as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
