Rally for Ketanji Brown Jackson at the Supreme Court
A small group of 6-8 anti-abortion protesters tries unsuccessfully to disrupt a rally in support of Ketanji Brown Jackson at the Supreme Court, on the first day of her Senate confirmation hearings. However, they were no match for the hundreds of people attending the rally. Jackson’s nomination to be a Supreme Court justice is historic because she is the first Black woman to be nominated. She is a former public defender and currently serves as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. (Photo by Allison Bailey/NurPhoto)
