Global Climate Strike in Washington, DC
A man whose car is decorated in American flags films protesters at a strike against climate change, telling them "we fight for your freedom too." It is unclear who he meant by "we. The strike was hosted by the youth-led organization, Fridays for Future. This event was one of many held worldwide March 25 by FFF, the global organization begun by Greta Thunberg in 2018. Protesters are demanding policymakers and the private sector take action against the climate crisis and reparations for the ordinary people - primarily in the global south - who have been hurt most by the practices responsible for climate change.
