Selva Sannidhi Murugan Temple In Sri Lanka
Small wooden cradles placed by Hindu families praying to have children hanging on the branches of a tree at the Selva Sannidhi Murugan Temple (Selvachannithy Murugan Kovil) in Thondaimanaru, Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The temple complex is dedicated to Lord Murugan and according to the history, was attacked by the Buddhists who burnt the temple and its wooden chariots to the ground.
