Senate passes the PACT Act
Senator Sherrod Brown (right) celebrates passage of the Honoring Our PACT Act with Susan Zeier (left) and TIm Hauser (center), two advocates for the bill. The Act passed the Senate 86-11 and now goes to the president for his signature. The bill establishes a connection between military service and exposure to toxins via burn pits, as well as other sources, easing access to healthcare for veterans and active duty members.
