The Ritual of Sadran Desa

The villagers eat together the offerings after pray on the sacred hills. Javanese Muslim people gathered to hold "Sadran Desa" and to commemorate The holy month of Muharram or "Suro" at Tlogopucang Village, District of Temanggung Central Java, Indonesia on October 24th 2015. Villagers bring the bamboo bucket full of food called "Tenong" as the result from their crops this year in the sacred hills and pray together, thankful to God for getting more blessing in their life.
