Indonesian First C-130J-30 Super Hercules Arrived In Jakarta

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force, Marshal TNI A.Gustaf Brugman (C), gives a statement to the press following the arrival of the Indonesian Air Force C-130J-30 Super Hercules A1339 aircraft at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on March 6, 2023. The aircraft The C-130J-30 Super Hercules A1339 arrived in Indonesia after flying 18,318 km with a total flight time of 34 hours from Lockheed Martin Aerospace, Georgia, on February 28, 2023, passing through the mainland of Marieta, Monterey, Honolulu, Kwajalein, Guam, and ending in Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base. The aircraft is the first of a total of 5 aircraft ordered by Indonesia, with the other 4 to be delivered in stages until early 2024. These modern military transport aircraft will replace a number of C-130Bs and C-130Hs that arrived in Indonesia in the 1970s -1980s. (Photo by Aditya Irawan/NurPhoto)
