Youth For Climate Took To The Streets In Toulouse
In Toulouse, France, on March 11th, 2023, youth and collectives are taking to the streets to denounce governments' inaction towards the climate crisis, even after the 6th IPCC assessment report. The window to keep the temperature under +1.5?C is rapidly closing, as precised in the IPCC report. They are also protesting the lack of action against the environmental crisis by governments, with the motto this year being against concreting and for islands of freshness in summer in cities. Several collectives, such as 'La Voie Est Libre' (against the planned A29 highway between Toulouse and Castres), 'No to the Rivel ZAC', and XR, are present.
