Youth For Climate Took To The Streets In Toulouse

Protesters in Toulouse, France, are holding placards reading ''We're Drowning Under Concrete'' on March 11th, 2023. Following the call of Greta Thunberg for a World School Strike and ''Fridays for Future,'' Youth For Climate and other collectives and NGOs are taking to the streets to denounce governments' inaction towards the climate crisis, even after the 6th IPCC assessment report. The window to keep the temperature under +1.5?C is rapidly closing, as precised in the IPCC report. They are also denouncing the lack of action against the environmental crisis by governments. The motto for this year in Toulouse is ''Against Concreting and for Islands of Freshness in Summer in Cities,'' and several collectives such as ''La Voie Est Libre'' (against the planned A29 highway between Toulouse and Castres), ''No to the Rivel ZAC,'' and XR are present.
