Graffiti By British Graffiti Street Artist Banksy Is Planned To Be Dismantled And Preserved In Irpin

Workers prepare to demolish two residential buildings which were damaged during fighting between Russian and Ukrainian troops in the town of Irpin, not far from Kyiv, Ukraine 16 April 2023, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The two residential buildings in Irpin will be demolished after being badly damaged by shelling during the war. Graffiti by Banksy, which is placed on one of the buildings, is planned to be dismantled and preserved. On the house, Banksy depicted a gymnast with a ribbon. The girl seems to be standing on a sphere, which is symbolized by a hole in the wall that was formed as a result of shelling in the city. (Photo by STR/NurPhoto)
