The Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket in Maharajgunj, which is looted, vandalized, and set on fire during the Gen Z protests on September 8 and 9, 2025, reopens to the public. The reopening is marked by a special puja conducted by Bhat-Bhateni Chairman Min Bahadur Gurung and other officials. The supermarket building, which is completely damaged during the protests, undergoes nearly six months of repair and reconstruction before being made accessible to customers again.
