Three men are in critical condition, and one man is in fair condition in a mass shooting on the 2700 block of South California Boulevard in the Marshall Square neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on July 5, 2025. On Saturday morning at approximately 1:46 AM, unknown male suspects in a dark SUV drive past the victims who are inside a parked vehicle. The suspects display firearms and open fire into the parked vehicle, striking multiple people. No one is in custody. A 26-year-old male sustains multiple gunshot wounds to the body and is listed in critical condition at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
