Elementary school kids playing in the area as a place of learning with the Sinabung volcano spews volcanic plumes of smoke and ash that threatened villages after the volcano alert level raised to highest, in Sukandebi village, Karo District, North Sumatra, Indonesia, June 6, 2015. more than 2,700 people moved from their homes near the volcano on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia 4 June following a sharp rise in volcanic activity, an official said. Sinabung alert raised to the highest levels of government fears that the growing lava dome could collapse at any moment. Mount Sinabung has erupted intermittently since late 2013. Sixteen people were killed and tens of thousands of people displaced during the early period of intense eruptions last year. Nearly 2,000 people are still living in temporary shelters as a result of the eruption last year.
