A young woman holds a placard reading 'You put on their knees, the same people who keep France on her feet'. For May Day or Labour Day, between 20 and 30,000 people took to the streets in Toulouse. Trade unionists, people, yellow vests, anarchists and members of political partys came to the demonstration. This year, people are worried of what french president Emmanuel Macon will do during his mandate and after the pensions reform which broke French society. Anger after this reform, after the police violence during protests and in Sainte-soline and after the ban of pans and whistles during protests are the main reasons of the scuffles which happened between protesters and riot police. Riot police launched scores of tear gas canisters and used the water cannon. Several protesters have been injured and others have been arresters. Anne Lefebre, director of ' 'Le vent des signes' theater explains why they reope this week-end. The placardreads 'Spring is inexorable this March 20th Me+you meet up'. This week-end, culture places in Toulouse such as the Sorano Theater, the Cave'Po and others decided to reopen temporarily to symbolize their will to obtain their reopening. This action is called by the Syndeac union amid others. The whole operation is dubbed 'Le printemps est inexorable' ie 'Spring is inexorable'.
