According to data from the Secretary of the Pantai Labu District, Aziz states that the Rohingya refugees come from Bangladesh and are stranded in Indonesia. There are 153 Rohingya refugees accommodated this week and detained at the sub-district office. Valdes announces that on May 10, 2023 in Passaic, New Jersey, United States, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Shooting Response Team was activated due to an officer- involved shooting that occurred in the area of Passaic Avenue and Lackawanna Avenue in the City of Passaic. The initial investigation has revealed that on May 10, 2023, at approximately 7:29 p.m., Passaic Police responded to report of an individual firing a handgun. Upon arrival, they encountered an individual. One Passaic Police Officer discharged his serviced-issued firearm, striking the individual. That individual was transported to the hospital for medical treatment for injuries that are described as non-life threatening. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
