YANTAI, CHINA - OCTOBER 10, 2023 - Dinosaur bones are seen at the Laiyang Cretaceous National Geopark in Yantai, Shandong province, China, Oct 10, 2023. According to the Museum of Palaeozoology of China, as of December 2020, China has researched and named 322 species of dinosaurs, ranking first in the world. The number continues to grow at a rate of about 10 new discoveries each year.

The first pieces found corresponded specifically to a jaw with part of its molars, a vertebra, a rib and unidentified pieces of a gonfoterio.Researchers from the Institute of Earth Sciences of the Austral University of Chile (UACH), discovered a human footprint of 15,600 years ago in this archaeo-paleontological site.The footprint was discovered in 2011, on the side of a house, and after an arduous investigation the scientists managed to determine that the human footprint dates from 15,600 years ago.
