A 29-year-old woman is found dead with trauma to the head at 39 Avenue X in Gravesend, Brooklyn, New York, United States, on June 19, 2025. On Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:26 PM, officers respond to 39 Avenue X in the Gravesend neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discover a 29-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head. EMS responds and pronounces the 29-year-old female deceased at the scene. The Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, and the investigation remains ongoing at this time. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification. Members of the NYPD crime scene unit collect evidence at the scene while members of the NYC OCME remove the body of the 29-year-old woman from the scene.
