On Monday, June 1, 2020, several dozen people gathered and knelt down in front of the US Embassy in Paris for a tribute to George Floyd, who was killed by police in Mineapolis on May 25. This demonstration was called by the association "Touche pas à mon pote", the UEJF (Union des Etudiants Juifs de France) and various anti-racist associations including Black Live Matters. Personalities such as journalist Audrey Pulvar, comedian Pascal Legitimus and rapper Mokobe took part in the operation.
