Workers are carrying out site investigation and data collection at the ancient city section of Xiakou in Zhangye, China, on June 27, 2024. In recent years, Shandan County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is using remote sensing surveying and mapping technology and UAV oblique photography technology to carry out three-dimensional reconstruction of Xiakou Ancient City site and other Great Wall sites, and is setting up digital protection measures such as control network and three-dimensional system of remote sensing data display.
