After 36 hours, incidents of rioting and hostage taking by terrorist prisoners were successfully controlled by the police following the release of a policeman who was hostage last afternoon. Deputy Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia, told a press conference that 145 prisoners surrender unconditionally, while 10 others surrendered after the attack.
