OSWIECIM, POLAND - APRIL 18, 2023: Ahead of the 35th annual 'March of the Living' to honor the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his wife Dana Kraft solemnly visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest German Nazi-operated concentration camp during World War II, on April 18, 2023, in Oswiecim, Poland. The March of the Living, an annual educational program, brings together Jewish students from around the world to silently march from Auschwitz I to Auschwitz II Birkenau, paying tribute to the millions of lives lost in the Holocaust. Through this powerful program, students gain a deeper understanding of the atrocities of the past and the importance of preventing them from happening again.

Tacloban, Philippines - Women remove grass as part of the "cash for work" program in Tacloban City on June 11, 2014. They receive 260 pesos, around 6 dollars per day in the program. On November 8, 2013, Haiyan, one of the most powerful typhoon to ever hit land, ravaged Eastern Visayas leaving thousands dead and homeless. Government estimates 16 million people to have been affected by the typhoon, with 6,300 reported dead and thousands more missing. Housing and livelihood are among the serious challenges in the rehabilitation process in Haiyan-affected areas seven months after the disaster.
