Volunteers carry parcels delivered by a volunteering business - Abdar Travel Agency from Krakow, Poland to a house temporarily transferred into a shelter for women with children run by Greek-Catholich Church in Nadyby, near Lviv, Ukraine on April 12, 2022. Since the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, the conflict forced over 10 million people to flee their homes, both internally and externally. Many Polish NGOs and individuals provide help for the displaced. Abdar travel agency is a business run by mixed marriage - Ukrainian Olga and Polish Maciej Oszal. Since the beginning of the conflict the couple engaged in delivering humanitarian help. They drive a coach to Lviv to deliver goods and to bring refugees from the western Ukrainian city to Poland.

Children pose at Chamakor camp, east of Mosul, Iraq, where large numbers of people have settled after being displaced by fighting during the offensive by the Iraqi army to retake the city of Mosul, on April 5, 2017 in Hamam al-Alil, Iraq. Internally Displaced People (IDP) could be seen at Chamakor camp, east of Mosul, on as the ongoing fight against Islamic State continues . More then 11, 000 IDP's live at the camp since it opened 3 weeks ago. The camp is so large the UN is building a new facility to house other IDP's coming from Western Mosul. Dry food parcels are dispersed as people wait in line for their goods. The camp is managed by the Barzani Charity Foundation a Kurdish charity independent and non-profitable organisation.
