More then 11, 000 IDP's live at the camp since it opened 3 weeks ago. The camp is so large the UN is building a new facility to house other IDP's coming from Western Mosul. Dry food parcels are dispersed as people wait in line for their goods. The camp is managed by the Barzani Charity Foundation a Kurdish charity independent and non-profitable organisation.
