Police continue investigations after the terror attack in London yesterday in which a car was driven into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge and then into railings outside the Houses of Parliament, where a knifeman stabbed a police officer named as PC Keith Palmer, who subsequently died from his injuries. The attacker also died after security forces shot him. Two other people died in the incident and approx 40 were injured, some 'catastrophically'. A woman was pulled alive from the Thames after reportedly jumping off the bridge to escape the attack. Proceedings in the House of Commons were suspended and the chamber placed into lockdown for the protection of MPs. The attack occurred on the 1st anniversary of the Brussels terror attacks.

Sea Cadets, in New Brighton, raising money for causes on Monday 25th May 2015 at the celebration events of the Cunard's 175th Anniversary. -- Cunard, the historic passenger cruise liner company, has celebrated its 175th anniversary. This was done by sailing the company's 'Three Queen' ships; the Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria up the River Mersey to Liverpool. The vessels docked outside The Cunard Building, at the pier head, the former headquarters of Cunard.
