A stylized Google Android mascot is on display at the ''Android Avenue'' exhibit during MWC 2026. The iconic green figure wears a pair of white-framed AI smart glasses, representing Google's latest foray into Android XR (Extended Reality) and wearable hardware. These prototype glasses, which feature integrated cameras and Gemini AI voice haptics, are shown as part of a broader ecosystem demonstration where Android mascots ''test'' the future of hands-free computing. The display highlights Google's strategy to bring multi-modal AI directly to the user's field of vision, allowing for real-time translation and object recognition through the lens during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026.
