The Chicago Police Department Office of Community Policing is organizing the event. Several people are turning in ammunition, rifles, and handguns. When someone is turning in a gun, no questions are being asked. For each real gun turned in, an individual is receiving a $100 Visa gift card. If someone is turning in a BB-Gun, Air-Gun, or a Replica Gun, that person is receiving $10 for each one turned in. Toy-Guns are not receiving a Prepaid Visa Card.
