Balinese Hindu priests are sprinkling holy water on worshipers as they participate in the Tawur Kesanga ritual at Parahyangan Agung Pasundan Temple in Bekasi Regency, West Java, on March 10, 2024. During the Tawur Kesanga ritual, Balinese Hindus are worshiping and parading Ogoh-ogoh, effigies that represent demons or bad traits, which will then be burned as a symbol of victory over evil. The Tawur Kesanga ritual is the final series of rituals before the Nyepi, or Balinese Day of Silence, which this year will be celebrated on March 11.
