The ''Hero'' shield machine is carrying out excavation construction in the Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway Tianxiang Avenue tunnel in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, on May 1, 2024. The Tianxiang Avenue Tunnel is a control project of the full line of the Nanchang-Jiujiang Intercity Railway, with a total length of 6.379 km. It is the largest shield tunnel with a diameter suitable for a 350 km/h high-speed railway that is officially being excavated and constructed in China.
