The mission moves in 1731 to San Antonio and receives its current name. It is listed on the National Register on February 23, 1972. Through a partnership between the US National Park Service and the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Texas, USA, Sunday church services (in both English and Spanish) are still conducted there.
