Francois Hommeril, General Secretary of the CFE-CGC trade union, was present at the demonstration as several thousand young people, employees and retirees rallied on June 6, 2023 to take part in the fourteenth day of demonstrations against pension reform in Paris. The new pension reform law, which has now come into force, raises the legal retirement age from 62 to 64. For the past six months, all the unions have been opposing the government's efforts to repeal the law.

Laurent Berger, General Secretary of the CFDT trade union, Marylise Leon, Deputy Secretary and future First Secretary of the CFDT, Sophie Binet, General Secretary of the CGT trade union, Cyril Chabanier, President of the CFTC trade union, Francois Hommeril, General Secretary of the CFE-CGC trade union, the leaders of the main trade unions in the intersyndicale were present at the demonstration as several thousand young people, employees and pensioners mobilized on June 6, 2023 to take part in the fourteenth day of demonstrations against pension reform in Paris. The new pension reform law, which has now come into force, raises the legal retirement age from 62 to 64.
