A vehicle is being damaged by bullet holes in the KFC parking lot. Three people are being shot in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 12, 2024. On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 1:55 p.m., on the 5900 block of S. Western Ave., a 41-year-old female victim and a 42-year-old male victim are inside a vehicle traveling northbound on Western Ave. when an unknown male suspect standing near the sidewalk is showing a firearm and firing shots in the direction of the victim's vehicle. The 41-year-old female victim is being struck multiple times in the body by gunfire and is being transported to the hospital initially listed in good condition. The 42-year-old male victim is being struck multiple times in the body by gunfire and is being transported to the hospital initially listed in good condition. A 30-year-old male victim is self-transporting to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim is initially listed in good condition. A firearm is being recovered on the scene. In the KFC parking lot, the vehicle is being located with several bullet holes and damage due to the shooting. There are no suspects in custody.
