The church of Barbiana, where Don Lorenzo Milani served as parish priest from 1954 until his death on June 26, 1967, is seen in Barbiana, Vicchio, Tuscany, Italy, on April 7, 2026. The small rural church features a simple plastered facade in yellow-ochre tones, a round bull's-eye window, and a wooden cross in front of the entrance door. A tall cypress tree stands to the left. Plaques by the Fondazione Don Lorenzo Milani are visible to the right of the facade. The building and adjacent canonica are now managed as a museum and educational site by the foundation.
