A geothermal drill tower is seen in a village of Szaflary near Nowy Targ in mountainous Podhale region in souther Poland on August 25, 2023. The drill started in March 2023 and it will go 7000 meters deep, making it the deepest geothermal borehole in the world. The well will supply heating network in the area. Comprehensive financing for this project has been provided by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

Radoslaw Wloszek, CEO of Krakow Airport, Jacek Majchrowski, the Mayor of Krakow, Witold Kozlowski, the Marshall of the Malopolska Region and Michael O'Leary, Group CEO of Ryanair, pose for a picture after a press conference announcing building in Krakow Training and Simulator Centre worth 130 million Euro (600 million Polish Zloty). Krakow, Poland on June 13, 2023. The construction will start in 2024 and the center will be equipped with 10 flight simulators. In one day it will be possible to train half a thousand people - pilots, mechanics and cabin crew members from all over the continent. The center will employ 150 specialists. Training will be held on Boeing 737 Gamechanger aircraft simulator.
