The jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus) trees belong to the Moraceae family and grow in abundance in countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and other countries in Southeast Asia. A jackfruit has a subtle sweet and fruity flavor, can weigh 3.5 kgs to 10 kgs on average, and grow as big as 25 kgs.
